Manufacturer Charters To Accompany Boosted Investment Across NTT INDYCAR SERIES
INDIANAPOLIS (Thursday, Feb. 12, 2026) – INDYCAR today announced a multiyear commitment from Chevrolet and Honda to continue as official Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs) of INDYCAR and the NTT INDYCAR SERIES. Each OEM agreement will commence in 2027 and run for multiple years, reflecting the upward trajectory of the sport and new investments in its growth.

Sebastien Bourdais Will Be Guest Driver in Mazda MX-5 Cup at St. Petersburg
ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. (Feb. 11, 2026) - Four-time IndyCar champion and current FIA World Endurance Championship driver Sebastien Bourdais (No. 38 McCumbee McAleer Racing) will compete as a guest driver in the Whelen Mazda MX-5 Cup presented by Michelin doubleheader at the Grand Prix of St. Petersburg. Racing with McCumbee McAleer Racing, Bourdais will participate in his home race as part of a fundraiser for the Karts4Kids charity.

INDYCAR To Deliver First Motor Race in History on the National Mall
INDIANAPOLIS (Friday, Jan. 30, 2026) – An executive order signed today by President Donald J. Trump directed the White House Task Force on Celebrating America’s 250th Birthday to designate a race route through Washington, D.C. and the National Mall for the purposes of conducting an NTT INDYCAR SERIES race on August 21-23, 2026. The event will recognize the historic milestone of America’s independence in addition to celebrating the unparalleled tradition and legacy of America’s motorsports industry.

ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. (Jan. 14, 2026) – Single Day tickets to the 2026 Firestone Grand Prix of St. Petersburg go on sale to the public tomorrow (Thursday, Jan. 15) at 10 a.m. ET. Tickets will be available online at gpstpete.com for the 22nd annual running of the iconic event in downtown St. Petersburg, Feb. 27 - March 1.
NASCAR National Series Champions Determined By Familiar Postseason Model
DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. (Jan. 12, 2026) – NASCAR today announced the return of ‘The Chase’ as its national series championship format beginning in 2026, hearkening back to the roots of NASCAR’s original postseason format that was in place from 2004-2013 in the NASCAR Cup Series.
