Accessible Parking
All permanent public on-street accessible spaces are available on a first-come, first-served basis. City garages, the University of South Florida (USF) garage and Tropicana Field provide accessible parking at the prevailing rate. The USF garage is recommended for those with limited mobility wishing to enter the 5th Avenue S. gate (Gate 5), and the SouthCore garage is recommended for those wishing to enter the 1st Avenue S. gate (Gate 1). The Looper is also wheelchair accessible. Please visit the City of St. Petersburg website for the most up-to-date information or click here for the parking and transportation map.
Service animals as defined by Title II and Title III of the ADA are permitted.
Track Crossing Times & Locations
Track crossings are available at certain times throughout the weekend to allow fans to cross at ground level, avoiding the walkover bridge. All track crossing times are subject to change based on the on-track schedule. Please note to be at these cross over locations at the start of the crossing time window as the length of the window is not guaranteed.

This is where pre-arranged media, sponsor and corporate credentials are issued. Credentials will not be mailed. Credentials are non-transferable and photo identification is required. A digital event waiver must be signed before receiving your credential.
Transfering or loaning of credentials by any individual will result in confiscation of the credential and refusal of entry to both the individual found with the credential and the person to whom it was originally issued.

Re-Entry Policy:
A hand stamp is applied when exiting. The hand stamp along with a digital admission ticket will need to be reshown for re-entry.
For all events over race weekend, patrons will be asked to open purses, backpacks or other bags for inspection upon entry. Prohibited items, including all items deemed a risk to staff and/or patrons’ safety by event security, will not be permitted onto the event grounds.

The Mahaffey Theater Box Office is also where Firestone IndyCar Paddock Passes are redeemed. You will redeem your Firestone IndyCar Paddock Pass ticket for a wristband. You can redeem your Saturday and Sunday passes at the same time, so that you do not have to stand in line twice. As a general rule of thumb, the lines are shorter earlier in the weekend. Please make sure your digital tickets are downloaded into your mobile wallet prior to arriving.
First Aid stations are found at the following locations:
- North side of Al Lang Stadium, near Speed Zone
- West side of Mahaffey Theater
- Outside The Hangar west of Turn 2
- East side of Albert Whitted Park

Junior is defined as 12 years of age and under. All junior ticket holders are to be accompanied by an adult when entering and while on-site. Any person with a junior ticket who is not a junior will be denied access or removed from the grounds.
Children under the age of 24 months are not required to purchase a ticket but must sit on the lap of the parent/guardian.
Tropicana Field:
Parking will be available at Tropicana Field in lots 6 & 7 for $30 per day. Cashless transactions only.
Free Shuttle Times:
Friday - 6:30am - 7:00 p.m.
Saturday - 6:30 a.m. - 9:00 p.m.
Sunday - 6:30 p.m. - 5:30 p.m.
City Parking Garages:
City Parking Garages will be $25 per day.
New! - Central Garage is available at 1398 1st Ave. N. Its entrance is on 1st Avenue North between 13th and 15th Streets and accessible via a short walk to SunRunner stops at 13th Street and 1st Avenue South for east-bound service, and the route back to the garage drops passengers at 1st Avenue North and 13th Street.
Motorcycle Parking:
Available for $10, along the west side of 1st Street South between 1st Avenue South and Central Avenue.

The following items may be brought onto the race grounds but will be subject to inspection by event staff and security.
Aerosol sunscreen
Binoculars, scanners and cameras with small case
Camera stands (tripods, monopods, etc.) are allowed on the grounds as long as they do not obstruct the view of others; such equipment is not to be used in the grandstands
Purses, backpacks and other small bags
Recognized mobility aids used by guests with disabilities are permitted. Guests are advised to bring a lock to chain wheelchairs and scooters underneath the grandstands.

Seat cushions
Service Animals
Small, personal handheld devices - cell phones, PDAs, etc.
Strollers and similar items for transporting children
Umbrellas may be used as long as they do not obstruct the view of others
All items are brought onsite at your own risk. Event staff and security are not responsible for lost, damaged or stolen items.
Strict security measures have been put in place to ensure an enjoyable experience for all event guests. Violating these policies may warrant ejection or arrest
Abuse of intoxicants
Carrying open food/beverage containers over bridges or track crossings
Disorderly conduct/fighting/profanity
Placing cups on walls
Running/jogging
Smoking/vaping in grandstand & hospitality areas
Spitting tobacco
Standing on grandstand seats

We ask all patrons to leave any non-essential, prohibited items at home, or locked in your vehicle. None of the listed prohibited items may be left in or around the gate area. The following items are not permitted on the race site:
Aerosol cans (except sunscreen)
Banners
Camcorders
Camera lenses that exceed 10’’
Confederate flag
Coolers (includes food and beverage)
Drones or other unmanned aircrafts
Firearms, knives, explosives or weapons of any description are not permitted
Fires, grills, fireworks
Folding chairs
Food and beverage
Glass bottles or containers
Golf carts for personal use
Handbills or samples are not to be distributed or placed on the grounds without the express written approval of the Firestone Grand Prix of St. Petersburg
Hateful flags, signs, imagery, etc.
Illegal drugs

Laptop computers (see above for permissible devices)
Large bags including but not limited to: Duffel and grocery bags, luggage

No flammable or combustible materials except small lighters (for cigarettes)
Noise makers, horns, helium balloons, beach balls
Other items that are deemed hazardous or diminish the enjoyment of the event by other patrons
Personal protection devices (mace/pepper spray)
Pets (except service animals as defined by Title II and Title III of the ADA)
Poles or sticks (except those to assist the disabled)
Projectile items and missiles
Roller blades, skateboards, skates, scooters, bicycles

None of the above restricted items may be left in or around the gate area
Catch a ride with the SunRunner, PSTA’s Bus Rapid Transit service. With service between St. Pete Beach and Downtown St. Pete every 15 minutes at peak times and a designated traffic lane, the SunRunner is a quick and easy way to get to the beach, downtown or anywhere in between. Service runs until midnight.
Take the St. Petersburg Trolley: The Looper Downtown Trolley and Central Avenue Shuttle (St. Pete's trolley system) which offers rides throughout the Grand Prix weekend at no charge between Grand Central Station and the Pier. The Looper provides a circular route (CLICK for Route Map) between the city's parking facilities, hotels, restaurants and attractions at no charge.

SunRunner Rapid Transit details:
Catch a ride with the SunRunner, PSTA’s Bus Rapid Transit service. The SunRunner takes you straight to Gate 1 with a stop at 1st Ave N and 1st St. S, just outside of Who’s On First, or hop off at the 6th Ave S Station located just a short walk away from Gate 5.

The Speed Zone is located near Turns 5 & 6 and the Firestone Bridge. There are many interactive displays and racing simulators for families and children of all ages.

Pending availability, tickets can be upgraded both before and during the event. Tickets may be upgraded onsite at the Gate 5 ticket booth or the Mahaffey Theater Box Office window. Tickets purchased from third parties can not be upgraded. Tickets purchased as part of a weekend combo must be upgraded for the whole weekend.
