Last Thursday (Feb. 26) it all began in North Straub Park with the INDYCAR Party in the Park and a SOLD OUT 5K Run. The fees from 1,500 registered runners and walkers, along with a matching contribution from race owners Kim Green and Kevin Savoree, delivered a record donation of $101,560 to the Police Athletic League of St. Petersburg.

Whereas on Friday he won convincingly from the pole, today, following the NTT INDYCAR SERIES headline event, the 16-year–old from Neiva, Colombia, had to come from behind to sweep the weekend and ensure an almost perfect start to the season for his DEForce Racing team.
