The Firestone Grand Prix of St. Petersburg presented by RP Funding ROOKIE RACERS program is designed to help young racing fans get the MOST out of their race weekend. This experience is best suited for those 5-12 years of age.
ROOKIE RACERS will get up-close access to drivers and cars, have hands-on opportunities to learn more about racing and receive ROOKIE RACERS Membership Kits. Saturday will be filled with on-site activities involving some of the support series teams. Sunday during pre-race for the NTT INDYCAR SERIES, your child will get the chance to high five EVERY driver on the starting grid!
The ROOKIE RACERS 'Membership Kit' will include goodies from sponsors and partners of the Firestone Grand Prix of St. Petersburg presented by RP Funding.

- Saturday Q&A with Santino Ferrucci - 12:00 p.m
- Meet outside the west end of the Mahaffey Theater
- Saturday INDY NXT Meet and Greet - 3:50 p.m.
- Meet at the American Legion Activation in Albert Whitted Park
- Sunday Driver Hight Five Line - 11:15 a.m.
- Meet in front of the Moffitt Cancer Center Winner’s Circle
