Inaugural Influencer Grand Prix Presented by HMG Set For This Wednesday, 10 YouTubers With 5.3 Billions Views Set to Race

ST PETERSBURG, Fla. (March 9,  2020) – The first edition of the new ‘Influencer Grand Prix presented by HMG’ will be held in downtown St. Petersburg on March 11, 2020, at 1:00 p.m. ET on a temporary karting track built within the Turn 1 footprint of the Firestone Grand Prix of St. Petersburg circuit. 

As part of a full-day of karting activities this Wednesday (March 11), an impressive lineup of high profile content creators with a combined 26.9 million YouTube subscribers and 5.3 billion YouTube views will take to the track, competing for bragging rights in the inaugural Influencer Grand Prix presented by HMG, all while filming content for their own channels throughout the challenge.   Competitors include Penguinz0, Huggbees, MoreJstu (Andrew and Justin), Ireland Boys (Nick and Ricky), Corey Funk, Joogsquad, Jack Doherty, and Pierce Tenney.

The 16th Annual Firestone Grand Prix of St. Petersburg returns as the opening race for the NTT INDYCAR SERIES for the 10th consecutive year. The event also features six support racing series on track with four of the six opening their 2020 seasons in St. Petersburg.

The 13 races are headlined by Sunday’s NTT INDYCAR SERIES race. Doubleheader features will be held for all three levels of the Road to Indy development program: Indy Lights presented by Cooper Tires, Indy Pro 2000 Championship presented by Cooper Tires and Cooper Tires USF2000 Championship. Sports car racing is also part of the weekend schedule with doubleheader races from SRO Motorsports Group’s GT4 America & TC America Series and IMSA’s Porsche GT3 Cup Challenge.
