The next Walgreens Bayside Business Forum on February 3 will explore Fast Cars, Fast Business: How Tampa Bay companies can leverage the Honda Grand Prix of St. Petersburg for strategic contacts and business development.

"Tampa Bay has become an internationally renowned destination for auto racing with the annual Honda Grand Prix of St. Petersburg,” said Maling Ebrahimpour, dean of the College of Business at USF St. Petersburg. "Thousands of business leaders, fans and media fly in to experience this world class event, but many learn very little about the business community here and how they might establish business relationships with Tampa Bay companies. We hope to change that with this event.”

Tim Ramsberger, vice president and general manager of the Honda Grand Prix of St. Petersburg, will share important information about the companies and people who attend the races each year and offer ideas for ways local businesses can build lasting and mutually beneficial relationships with them.

The Walgreens Bayside Business Forum is presented by the Dean’s Advisory Council of the College of Business at USF St. Petersburg. The series focuses on interdisciplinary collaborations that are shaping Florida’s business future.
